Linda Young began studying Mussar in 2016 with Rabbi Joshua Boettiger at Temple Emek Shalom in Ashland, Oregon, and became a Madricha ten years later in 2026. She has embraced the beauty of Mussar as a practice to increase self-awareness and to be better able to show up in the world for others. Linda is professor emerita of Economics at Southern Oregon University.
