DONATE & REGISTER NOW

Join us for an evening of reflection and celebration as we honor the memory of our beloved teacher and friend, Carol Daniels. Together we’ll kindle the lights of Hanukkah, hear words of inspiration from 3 guest speakers and share in the reading of a meditation Carol wrote before her passing. In her spirit, we continue the light of learning, compassion, and dedication that she so beautifully embodied.

Featuring Guest Speakers:

  • Rabbi Joshua Boettiger

  • Heidi Schneider

  • Rabbi Ira Stone

Carol Daniels was a founding member of CCM and a long-time, beloved teacher. Her memory lives on in the countless students she taught, the lessons she imparted, and the profound impact she had on her community.

“With profound gratitude, I reflect on the five years I received her wise and compassionate guidance, replete with Mussar-infused Torah and mindfulness meditation, illustrative anecdotes of applying middot with her dearly cherished family and friends, and exhortations to make regular use of our gratitude, cheshbon hanefesh, and nir tamid.

Skillfully, she led us to safe harbors amidst the turbulent seas of unnoticed burdens. Diligently, she encouraged us to keep vigil at the lighthouse, ever attentive to its translucence.

To have known our beloved Madricha is to know that she really mattered. May her memory forever be a bright beacon, and a source of enduring inspiration.”
